ThePedersoli Le Page Target cal. .36 isa black-powered replica of a French single action pistol produced by gunsmith Henry La Page between 1840 and 1850.
Design
The Le Page Target uses an octagonal barrel as long as 260 mm, thus providing a target line of impressive length. The gun has a furrowed 7-bolt with a 1:18 thread pitch with a hook mount, which makes the process of partially disassembling the weapon easier and faster.
The key elements of the gun, i.e. the barrel, lock, pigtail, bail, and breech plate are made of stainless steel. The European walnut stock was protected with special wood oil. The enlarged moustache on the breech and the checkering applied to the handle provide a comfortable and stable grip, which is especially important for a weapon weighing 1050 g. The cap lock has 2 positions: safe, ready to fire. We can use 4mm or 4.7mm caps for the chambering. An ornament with a floral motif is etched on the profiled bail.
