Airguns
An air gun is a gun that uses compressed air energy and is a perfect introduction to shooting sports. Air guns can be divided into two main categories: leisure and sport. The former are designed for people who want to combine shooting with outdoor activities. Sports air guns, on the other hand, are designed for people who want to compete in shooting competitions, where accuracy and reliability are key.

Frequently Asked Questions
1️⃣ What kind of scope for a windsock?
Buying optics for a windshield, is just as important as choosing the windshield itself. That's why it's worth investing in proven Vortex brand optics. Vortex rifle scopes are famous for their uncompromising optics quality, reliability and precision manufacturing. In addition to optics dedicated to firearms, Vortex also offers a budget line of scopes in the Crossfire series designed for windshield shooting. It is worth noting that every Voretex scope, even the cheapest, comes with a lifetime VIP warranty.
2️⃣ What scope for a spring-loaded air rifle?
Spring-loaded air rifles generate a lot of recoil during shooting, so it is important that the optical sight we choose, be adapted for mounting on a spring-loaded carbine. Cheap optics, in the best case, may not hold zero after just a few shots (it becomes unsettled). At worst, the scope may suffer serious mechanical damage that precludes its further operation. Therefore, when planning to purchase a spring-loaded air rifle, consider buying a proven optical sight, such as the Vortex brand. Vortex optical sights for firearms have a lifetime VIP warranty, are characterized by high quality and affordable price, so they will also work perfectly on spring windguns.
3️⃣ What kind of shotgun pellets for a windmill?
The choice of shotgun pellets for a windshield depends on several factors: the caliber of the barrel, the energy of the windshield and the type of barrel. The basic parameter is the caliber of the windgun. The most popular are windcheaters in 4.5mm and 5.5mm caliber. Knowing the caliber of the windcheater, we choose a shotgun of the appropriate size. Windcheaters use furrowed barrels (commonly threaded) and smooth barrels. Windcheaters with a threaded barrel shoot diabolo type shot providing greater precision. Windguns with smooth barrels use BB's (recreational shooting) or the increasingly rare aileron-type ball shot. The choice of shotgun pellets is also influenced by the power of the windgun and the form of shooting. In simple terms, the more powerful the carbine, the heavier the shotgun can shoot. Diabolo shotgun shells can come in different shapes. Flat shotgun shells are favored for target shooting because of their perfect shotgun shells. Half-round shot is the most accurate and versatile. On the other hand, the spitzer type shot is perfect for recreational shooting, such as for cans, bottles, etc.
4️⃣ What Co2 cartridges for a windmill?
CO2 windcheaters are powered by 2 types of capsules, i.e. 12 g or 88 g. 12 g CO2 cartridges are mainly powered by wind guns (sometimes carbines), while large 88 g capsules are used only for CO2 carbines. Regardless of the size of the capsule, the principle of a CO2 windgun is the same. The main difference between 88 g and 12 g capsules is in the shooting performance-that is, the number of shots fired.
5️⃣ How far does a shotgun blast fly?
Depending on the power and type of windgun, the range of the fired shot can reach up to 300 m. The minimum effective range of a standard air rifle is 50 m. With powerful carbines with energy close to 17 J, we can shoot at a distance of 100 m. Many shooters try their hand at shooting at a distance of up to 200 m, However, such a distance to the target often requires aiming with an elevation of up to several meters. With the proper adjustment of the optical sight or mechanical instruments of most standard windlass rifles, we can shoot accurately at 50 m after proper training and selection of shotgun pellets.
