Frequently Asked Questions
1️⃣ What kind of photo trap for a plot of land?
A good photocamera should have a built-in GSM/WiFi module, IR LEDs that allow recording images at night, and an efficient power supply to ensure a long operating time. Thanks to the GSM module and the ability to install a SIM card, the camera will automatically send a message with a video or photo after detecting movement on our property. IR LEDs with a wavelength of 940 emit light completely invisible to the human eye. Thanks to them, even in total darkness, the camera captures a clear image in which we will recognize the offender. The camera for the plot should have camouflaging colors, a weatherproof design and an economical power supply system, allowing it to operate for up to several months.
2️⃣ Which photo trap should I choose?
To choose a good photocamera, it is important to pay attention to several important issues. Does the camera have a GSM module? Thanks to it, we will receive a notification immediately after detecting movement. Another issue is the range of the motion sensor, determining from what distance the camera will capture a moving object. Third is the 940mm IR LEDs, which produce light that is invisible to the human eye, but allows us to record legible footage in total darkness. The type of power supply and operating time determines how often we will need to check the photo trap and replace the batteries. The resolution of photos and video, or simply the quality of the material that the camera records.
3️⃣ What batteries for a photobucket?
Once you've purchased your photo trap, it's worth investing in branded R6 alkaline batteries or proven rechargeable batteries such as AA Eneloop. Despite the higher cost of rechargeable batteries, this investment pays for itself quickly and, importantly, is highly environmentally friendly.
