The weight of diabolo shot, of course, depends on its caliber, shape and intended use. The most popular 4.5 mm shot can weigh from 5.5 grains (0.39 g) to 10 g. For the 4 5 mm caliber, the standard shot weight is about 7.9 grains, for the 5.5 mm caliber it is 14.3 grains. The lightweight shot should be used for low-powered windguns (up to 10 J), the heavy shot is usually used for FAC carbine (energy above 17 J).
