1️⃣ What ammunition for wild boar?
Information about what kind of ammunition we can use for hunting wild boar can be found in the Regulation of the Minister of Environment dated March 22, 2005. For hunting wild boar, we can only use hunting weapons with threaded barrels with a minimum caliber of 5.6 mm. We should use hunting ammunition with semi-jacketed bullets that have an energy of no less than 2000 J (1000 J for piglets) at a distance of 100 m from the barrel exit.
2️⃣ Subsonic ammunition - What is it?
Subsonic ammunition is a subsonic ammunition with a heavy bullet with a lower initial velocity, adapted for shooting with a sound suppressor. Subsonic uses heavy bullets that do not reach the speed of sound (less than Mach 1) when fired. When combined with sound suppressors, subsonic ammunition can greatly reduce the bang of the shot (compared to regular ammunition).
3️⃣ What ammunition for 308 win?
The choice of .308 ammunition depends primarily on the barrel (thread pitch) and the form of shooting, a different ammunition will be chosen for target shooting and another will be chosen for hunting. For hunting, Brenneke cal. 308 Win Basic 12 g ammunition, which effectively mushrooms in the carcass, will work perfectly. For precision target shooting, Hornady cal. 308 Win ELD-M 168 gr ammunition with high aerodynamic properties and precision is ideal.
4️⃣ What is blank ammunition?
Blind ammunition otherwise known as bang ammunition, used for training, battlefield simulation, film productions, etc. Blind ammunition is devoid of projectiles or uses projectiles that spontaneously disintegrate after leaving the barrel. Bang ammunition used for alarm weapons also allows the firing of flares.
5️⃣ What ammunition for a shotgun?
We can shoot smoothbore rifles with shotgun ammunition or slug-type ball ammunition. Shotgun ammunition is mainly used for hunting (fowl and small game) and sporting applications (skeet, trap, IPSC). Slug ball ammunition allows shooting targets at distances of up to 200 meters, so it is used for hunting larger game and target shooting (IPSC). In Poland, the most popular ammunition for shotguns is FAM Pionki ammunition.
6️⃣ Defensive ammunition - What is it?
Defensive ammunition is ammunition with a Jacketed hollow point (JHP) bullet designed for self-defense. Defensive ammunition uses bullets that mushroom when they hit the target, causing additional damage. JHP ammunition is less prone to ricocheting and has less penetrating properties. Defensive ammunition is mainly used for self-defense.
7️⃣ What ammunition for 9.3x62?
The 9.3x62 ammunition is currently used mainly for hunting. Hunting ammunition 9.3 × 6 is characterized by a flat trajectory, high velocity and immediate energy release in the carcass.
