Frequently Asked Questions
1️⃣ How to clean a gas grill?
The first step in cleaning a gas grill is to scorch the grate, that is, to clean it using high heat. During this process, we remove food residue and dirt from the grates by simply heating the closed oven to maximum temperature. Once the grill has cooled down, we empty and clean the grease container (warm water with household dish detergent is sufficient). Use a dedicated stainless steel brush to remove charred residue from the grill, aromatizers, burners and bottom of the oven. After cleaning the grill, it is a good idea to preserve the grate, for this purpose all you need is vegetable oil and a silicone brush.
2️⃣ Gas or electric grill?
If you plan to grill outdoors often, a better choice would be to purchase a gas grill, which, despite the higher initial price, compensates for it with lower operating costs. Thanks to the aromatizers, gas grills such as the Broil King Signet 320 provide a unique taste and aroma of food, which is why they are chosen by gourmet outdoor grilling. For occasional barbecuing at home for one or two people, the Weber Q 1400 electric grill will, of course, be a good investment, especially that for line-conscious people who care about easy and quick cooking.
3️⃣ Is a gas grill healthy?
Based on research, it can say without a doubt that the gas grill emits virtually no harmful substances, so it is safer for health. When barbecuing, the main cause of substances hazardous to health, is fat dripping onto the coals or briquettes. If you use a gas grill, this problem does not occur, because aromatizers shield the burners from dripping fat. Aromatizers additionally vaporize it and give a great flavor.
4️⃣ How to fire up a gas grill?
To safely light a gas grill, first of all, we need to connect the grill regulator to a gas-filled cylinder. Then unscrew the cylinder valve (one full turn is enough), open the grill lid, turn the temperature control knob and press the igniter button. When firing up the grill for the first time, it is recommended to set the temperature knobs to the maximum position and turn on all the burners for a few minutes to burn out all the residues of the manufacturing process.
