TheUmarex HPP 4.5mm is a metal-builtCO2 air rifle that features a powerful Hi Power power mechanism, a blow-back lock recoil system and a functional accessory rail.
Solid construction
The air rifle features excellent fit and finish details, as well as a heavy weight (823 g), thanks to its heavy metal construction. Only the facings were made of polymer.
The non-slip texturing of the grip and the extended magazine foot ensure a secure and comfortable grip on the windbreaker regardless of hand size. The pistol's lock is ribbed at the rear, which allows for comfortable reloading.
There is a Picatinny rail on the pistol's skeleton for mounting additional shooting accessories, such as a laser target marker, flashlight or Mantis trainer.
The Umarex HPP has mechanical sighting instruments, in the form of a fixed scimitar and a musket with white markings.
Efficient power supply
The air rifle is powered by a 12gCO2 capsule, mounted in the handle. The compressed carbon dioxide gives the fired BB's a velocity of up to 130 m/s and enables accurate shooting at a distance of about 20 m.
A Hi Power system has been implemented in the airgun, which is responsible for increased shooting performance. Thanks to it, it is possible to fire up to 150 aligned shots from the gun!
The number of shots, of course, depends on the air temperature, the dynamics of shooting and the proper maintenance of the airgun. It is also important to remember that aCO2 capsule (punctured) can be left in the windgun for a maximum of 48 hours.
After this time, the capsule must be removed or "fired". Installation and replacement of the capsule are very simple, requiring only inserting the capsule into the magazine and tightening it with the included allen wrench.
Powerful blow-back recoil
TheCO2 supply allowed the use of the blow-back system, which is responsible for the realistic recoil of the breech after the shot is fired. The effective and perceptible "kick" of the airgun makes us have an irresistible impression of shooting a firearm.
After firing all BB's from the magazine, the lock remains in the rear position. Replacing the magazine, reloading and the process of firing the shot also allude to the mechanics of a firearm.
Such functionality guarantees great fun while allowing you to learn to shoot safely.
Steel BB's shot
The magazine, which slides out of the handle, holds 15 BB's 4.46mm steel shot, which are best suited for recreational shooting at reactive targets, cans, bottles, etc.
The magazine feeder can be locked in the lower position, this allows for gravity loading of the shotgun directly from the container.
Unlike lead BB'S shot, even under pressure it does not deform, so they can be safely loaded into high-capacity magazines.
DA trigger mechanism
The windcheater uses a DA (double action) trigger mechanism, which allows shooting exclusively with self-trigger.
The advantage of this solution is, first of all, simple and instinctive operation, which makes the Umarex HPP 4.5mm air rifle great for those starting their adventure with air shooting.
When carrying or storing, the trigger mechanism can be locked with an external fuse located on the right side of the frame.
