The 12gCO2 capsule allows you to fire up to 80 shots with an even initial velocity*.
Once the capsule has been punctured, it can be stored in the airgun/replica for up to 48 hours at most, as the gas pressure can permanently damage the valve seals. After this time, the capsule should be "fired" or disposed of.
