The Leapers bow tie has a folding design, which allows you to unfold it only when you need it. The folded bow tie has a low profile, so that it does not interfere with movement and does not snag on pieces of equipment and vegetation.
To unfold the sight, a spring-loaded button is used, which not only instantly unfolds the fly, but also stably locks it in the lower position. The spring-loaded hinge is resistant to weapon recoil and falling, so the sight will not let us down at a critical moment. The Leapers UTG bow tie, like the classic A2, has a height-adjustable post, but the difference is that you don't need a special tool to adjust it. We can easily change the setting of the bow tie using a knurled ring. A steel bolt with a rectangular profile is responsible for maintaining zero and stable seating of the musket on the Picatinny rail of MIL-STD-1913.
