Peltor CombatArms 4.1 are semi-active ear protectors in which we can choose the level of noise suppression between 16 and 28 dB.
Peltor CombatArms 4.1 are state-of-the-art earplugs with a triple flange, with the ability to block or open the channels through which sound passes. Thanks to a tilting flap that locks the diaphragm, the user can instantly boost noise protection. The mode switch is large enough to be comfortably operated even with tactical gloves.
Unlike ear protectors (headphones), CombatArms 4.1 earplugs are extremely lightweight and comfortable, and do not cause sweating in the ears or create a feeling of excessive isolation. The mechanical acoustic diaphragm has a patented system that protects against impulse noise. The durable silicone construction of the earplugs allows easy hygiene, is resistant to water and moisture, and features minimal size and weight. An elastic headband further stabilizes the earplug in the ear.
Operating modes:
Open modes with an average attenuation of 16 dB, is activated by pressing the "CAE" switch. Allows you to carry on conversations, you can clearly hear ambient sounds and commands. When impulse noise occurs, the acoustic filter reduces the sound wave thereby reducing the noise level. When the switch is toggled to the "3M" position, the ear canal is closed reducing the sound input.
Closed mode with an average attenuation value of 28 dB is recommended in situations of continuous noise, for example, during loud machine operation, in a military vehicle, etc. Conducting conversations in closed mode is not possible. The set includes 2 cords and a storage box.
