Very easy sharpening

Taidea TG1704 is an electric knife sharpener that requires no experience or skill in sharpening. The user only needs to select the sharpening angle, turn on the devices and gently slide the cutting edge through the slots.

Such functionality means that the sharpener can also be used effectively and safely by ladies, who are usually deterred by sharpening on a water stone or with a complicated sharpening system.

The sharpener has a separate place for a hand rest and a non-slip base with a built-in magnet, which prevents the whetstone from sliding on slippery or steel surfaces. The 35-watt motor is switched on and off with the touch of a button

Sharpens steel and ceramic knives

The sharpener has fixed, pre-defined sharpening angles, which greatly simplifies the grinding process. Sharpening requires the user to apply only constant pressure and drag the cutting edge from the base to the tip.

Diamond grinding wheels allow sharpening knives made of highly hardened steel, as well as ceramic knives, which ordinary ceramic sharpeners can't handle.

Depending on the condition of the blade, the user can choose between gradations 600 and 1000 and angles 1 and 2. Angles marked 1 (gradation 600) are for sharpening ceramic knives and severely dulled cutting edges. Group #2 (gradation 1000) is used for smoothing the blade and quick sharpening.
