TheJoker JKR-653 is a sturdy folding knife that features a blade assist mechanism, Mova stainless steel blade, proven liner-lock and G10 laminate liners.
Spanish stainless steel
The knife has an 86mm long blade, made of Mova stainless steel hardened to 57-59 HRC. The Spanish steel has good corrosion resistance and hardenability comparable to AUS6.
The Mova steel blade will perform well in everyday use, due to its resistance to corrosion, good sharpness retention and ease of sharpening, for which a standard whetstone is completely sufficient.
Practical blade
Themassive 3mm thick blade has a usable drop-point, which means that the knife will not let you down during everyday work. Thanks to the strong hilt, concave grind and clearly rounded cutting edge, the knife has good cutting properties, and its sharpening is very easy.
Easy unfolding
The blade can be quickly and conveniently unfolded with one hand in two ways, i.e. with the help of a milled flipper fin or a double-sided peg. Regardless of the chosen method, the unfolding of the blade is smooth and comfortable for both right and left-handed people.
Mechanism that assists in unfolding the blade
The opening process is facilitated by a spring-assisted mechanism. When the flipper flipper is pressed or the flipper is undermined, the assist mechanism activates an internal spring that dynamically unfolds the blade, making the knife ready for use in a fraction of a second.
Safe use
Once the blade is unfolded, it is securely locked with a liner-lock mechanism. The steel locking bar provides a high level of safety, and its operation is very intuitive and convenient. A reliable lock is an important element calling for the functionality and safety of the folding knife.
Comfortable grip
The handle of the knife is formed by 3D-made facings made of gray G10 composite. The glass-epoxy laminate used is characterized by light weight, high mechanical strength, resistance to water, temperature change, as well as many acids and solvents.
The wide grip, deep undercut for the index finger and oval cutters make the knife very secure and safe in the hand. Daily carrying of the knife in the pocket is made possible by a standard clip, mounted in one position only.
