TheKershaw Lucha 5150BW is a professional balisong featuring a perfectly balanced 14C28N steel head, dual KVT ball bearings and a strikingly finished handle.
Swedish stainless steel
The 117mm long blade is made of Swedish 14C28N stainless steel hardened between 58-60 HRC. Due to the high purity of the alloy, 14C28N steel is distinguished by its high hardness, corrosion resistance and, importantly for the user, long retention of working sharpness.
The slim clip-point profile blade has a striking aged BlackWash (black oxidation) finish, which effectively masks minor scratches or abrasions of the blade incurred during use.
Thanks to the use of a concave grind and a cutting edge with a distinctly rounded belly, the knife has excellent cutting properties, and the blade does not wedge in the material. The thickness of the blade at its widest point is 4 mm, making this striking "butterfly" also a full-fledged knife for everyday tasks.
Perfect balance
The blade expands in the middle part, thus increasing its weight and providing better balance during rotation. Despite its considerable size (260 mm overall length) and full steel construction, the knife weighs less than 170 g, so its daily carrying is not cumbersome.
KVT bearings
The knife owes its exceptional smoothness and dynamic performance to the seating of the arm pins on KVT ball bearings. This allows you to perform tricks very easily and quickly, as well as extremely comfortable use of the knife on a daily basis.
Steel handle
TheKershaw Lucha 5150BW has perfectly shaped arms made of sandblasted stainless steel. The beveled contours and polished edges make playing with this knife a pleasure. The locking bolt has a rounded head and a pin to prevent contact with the blade.
