TheFenix HM65R-T is a new version of the bestselling headlamp, which, thanks to the new SST-40 LED and a patented band adjustment system, provides a more powerful light output, and great functionality.
Mainly changes from the Fenix HM65R model
- Powerful SST40 diode,
- greater range- up to 170 m,
- total light output -1500 lumens,
- less weight - only 91 g (without battery),
- patented rotating push/pull clasp operated with one hand,
- smaller body of the flashlight.
Lightweight and durable design
The flashlight has a sturdy and rugged body, made of magnesium alloy, a material that is resistant to mechanical damage, corrosion and weather conditions.
The headlamp has a compact and lightweight design with no external wires, making the flashlight very convenient to use and great for any form of outdoor activity, from cave exploration, camping and evening jogging.
The flashlight features a high IP68 rating, which means that it is resistant to dust, dust, heavy rain and even full immersion in water (2 m) for 30 minutes. Therefore, the HM65R can be successfully used in all weather conditions for virtually any physical activity.
Fit System armband
The Fenix HM65R-T uses the patented Fit System band adjustment system, which allows you to adjust the circumference of the band with one hand. The mechanism is operated by a rotating disk, with which we can easily shorten or increase the circumference of the band even while jogging.
The widened band is responsible for the comfort of carrying the flashlight and efficient sweat wicking during physical activity.

Stronger light output
The flashlight's main light source is a powerful SST40 LED, which emits a maximum stream of 1,300 lumens with a cool color recommended for any application requiring intensity and maximum brightness.
The light reflected from the smooth reflector has a fairly concentrated beam with an operating range of up to 170 meters. In addition to the long-range emitter, the headlamp also uses a second smaller XP-G2 S3 LED (with a neutral color) and a collimating lens, which disperses the light evenly and provides very efficient and uniform illumination at close range. The simultaneous activation of two LEDs generates a total flux of 1500 lumens!
The flashlight has, of course, an angle adjustment, which is done by tilting the entire flashlight module.
USB-C charging port
The Fenix HM65-T headlamp is powered by a 18650 rechargeable battery (included), which can also be replaced by 2 disposable CR123 batteries. However, we recommend using the 18650 battery, which guarantees full light performance and longer flashlight operation. A USB-C port is installed in this model, which allows you to charge the battery without removing it from the device. This is a very functional solution in the situation when you plan to work for a long time with the head flashlight.
Easy and comfortable operation
Thanks to the use of two buttons, the operation of the flashlight is very simple and convenient and, most importantly, does not require taking the flashlight off the head.
Each emitter is operated by a separate switch, which is also used to change the brightness level. The long-range emitter offers 3 modes: turbo (1300 lumens), high I (400 lumens) medium (130 lumens). In the maximum mode of 1300 lumens, the flashlight works for up to 4 hours (depending on the battery used).
Thediffuse light emitter has 3 modes: high (400 lumens), medium (70 lumens) and low (5 lumens).
The limited version of the HM65R-T uses a driver that stabilizes the current of the LED, which ensures longer run time. The Fenix HM65R-T headlamp is equipped with reverse polarity protection to prevent incorrect battery installation.
The presented parameters were obtained under laboratory conditions. Fenix ARB-L18 18650 3400 mAh 3.6 V battery was used during testing.
