TheEka SwedBlade G4 orange is an innovative hunting knife equipped with a swivel head with two blades, designed for game taking.
After the worldwide success of the G3 knife, the Swedish manufacturer did not settle on its laurels and continued to develop a hunting knife that can handle not only game but also be an efficient tool for field work. The result was the Eka SwedBlade G4 knife, with a modified handle, a swivel head secured by a locking mechanism and a modular design that allows the knife to be quickly disassembled for cleaning.
Double-blade head
The element that distinguishes Eka knives is the rotating head with two blades. The main blade is a classic drop point (100 mm) with a high concave grind, ideal for skinning and any work you will face while hunting or being out in the field. After turning the blade, we gain access to a smaller blade with a blunt hilt. The profiled blade with a soft tip is used for gutting game and significantly reduces the risk of damaging internal organs during removal. The blade is made of 12C27 stainless steel. The Swedish steel has high hardness and abrasion resistance, as well as a regular carbide distribution, which guarantees smooth and efficient cutting. It is also important that the 12C27 Sandvik steel blade can be quickly sharpened even by an untrained user using a pocket ceramic sharpener. Work safety is guaranteed by a locking mechanism that prevents the blade from folding during use.
Quick unfolding
A hunting knife usually becomes intensely soiled with blood during the carcass preparation, so it is important to thoroughly clean the head and all the nooks and crannies of the tool after the game is gutted. The Eka SwedBlade G4 can be quickly and easily disassembled without any tools, making the knife wonderfully suited to the needs of hunters. The knife has a modular design and consists of 3 main parts: a head with two blades and two liners made of non-slip Proflex Grip plastic. If you want to clean the knife thoroughly, all you have to do is slide the lock slider (at the bottom of the handle) holding the structure together. After deactivating the locking mechanism, the knife disassembles into 3 pieces, which we can easily and thoroughly clean from dirt. To carry the knife, a polymer sheath with a belt loop is used. Thanks to the 360° adjustment of the sheath's angle on the belt, we can adjust it to our preferences.
