TheKel-Tec KSG Comp 12/76 is a compact "pump action" repeating rifle with a bull-pup design, equipped with two sub-luxury magazines with a capacity of 8 rounds, a folding foregrip that accommodates a KelTec flashlight with 450 lumen output, and an accessory rail for mounting a collimator.
Compact shotgun for recreational and tactical-defense shooting
Kel-Tec's KSG shotgun is a model that definitely stands out among the weapons available on the Polish market. Due to its compact design, reliability and large ammunition supply, the shotgun will be perfect for tactical-defensive and sport shooting.
The bull-pup design made it possible to significantly shorten the size of the rifle (only 663 mm) while maintaining a fairly long 18.5″ (47 cm) barrel. The 76mm cartridge chamber allows the rifle to shoot weaker and more powerful Magnum (12/76) ammunition. The barrel has an integrated CYL fore-end, allowing for shotgun and munitions shooting. Key parts of the weapon are made of durable 4140 tool steel. Zytel, a lightweight plastic (fiberglass-reinforced nylon) with very high resistance to mechanical damage, is used for the frame.
Shotgun with two magazines
The weapon is fed from two sub-locking tubular magazines holding a total of 8 rounds of 12/76 ammunition. Cartridges are loaded into the magazine in series through the loading window in the lower part of the breech chamber. Thanks to the use of a DFE (Double Feeed Eliminator) distributor, the rifle can be fed from only one magazine. Such a solution allows each magazine to be loaded with a different type of ammunition depending on individual preference.
The choice of magazine is made with the distributor lever located behind the pistol grip. Setting the lever to the right locks the left magazine; setting the lever to the left, locks the right magazine. The solution is very simple and makes it easy to change the magazine without taking the gun off the shoulder. Reloading is done identically to classic repeating rifles, i.e. manually moving the shuttle back and then forward. Before firing each shot, it is necessary to manually insert a cartridge from the magazine into the chamber, and after firing, it is necessary to manually eject the casing and insert the next piece of ammunition.
The shotgun has a piercing safety located above the pistol grip for the comfort of right- and left-handed shooters. Above the barrel is a Mil-Std-1913 Picatinny rail, on which we can mount a collimator sight of our choice.
Integrated tactical flashlight with a stream of 450 lumens
The compact version uses a folding front grip with a flashlight with a stream of 450 lumens. An enlarged switch with momentary illumination function was used to operate the flashlight.
