TheBergara B14 Extreme 18'' cal. 308 Win is a classic Remington-style four-barrel that features excellent accuracy, affordability and high locking culture.
The weapon uses a two-barrel bolt lock in the breech chamber, which features excellent smoothness and lightness of operation. The lock has threaded holes for mounting optics. The barrels and locks of the Extreme series of rifles are made of stainless steel covered with a protective coating of gray cerakote (heat-hardened ceramic paint).
Lightweight bed
The Bergara B14 Extreme Hunt 18'' is a model that uses a lightweight bed made of fiberglass-reinforced polymer that is weatherproof. The bed has a symmetrical Monte Carlo flask and a rubberized CrushZone Recoil pad (flask foot), which is responsible for reducing recoil. The SoftTouch coating provides excellent grip even in harsh weather conditions.
Precision barrel
The rifle uses an 18" barrel (1:10 thread) made of stainless steel. Once the ammunition is selected, the manufacturer guarantees a focus of 1 MOA at a distance of 100 meters.
Bergara barrels are distinguished by their excellent quality and affordable price, which is why the Spanish manufacturer's weapons are rapidly growing in popularity among hunters. The barrel is terminated with an M14×1 thread suitable for mounting an exhaust brake, the installation of which is recommended for relatively short weapons (890 mm) with high recoil.
Adjustable trigger mechanism
The rifle has an adjustable trigger mechanism (1.4-2 kg) without an accelerator, locked by a two-position fuse. The B14 Extreme Hunt has an internal 4-barrel magazine with a tilting lid.
