Italian manufacturer Chiappa is famous for its reasonably priced weapon models directly based on classic designs. The 1911 Field Grade model is a traditional M1911A1, which will be perfect in the hands of a historical small arms enthusiast. The raw finish and knurled wooden facings make us appreciate the timelessness of this over 100-year-old model when using the pistol. The version is powered by the popular 9x19 mm Luger cartridge.
The Chiappa 1911 Field Grade pistol provides the user with:- Proven, all-steel construction offering great ergonomics and precision
- Powered by the popular 9x19 caliber to guarantee increased gun control
- SA-type trigger that guarantees low resistance and high smoothness, translating into accuracy
- Fuses characteristic of the 1911 to eliminate the risk of accidental firing
- Traditional steel sights that will work well for target shooting
In order to provide us with grip ergonomics identical to the original, the magazine remained in the classic single-row form. By feeding a slightly smaller cartridge than in the original, its capacity could be increased to 10 rounds of ammunition. The all-steel construction translates into high weight and stiffness, which, combined with the SA-type trigger, positively affects the weapon's precision. The pistol has received fixed mechanical sighting devices, which will work well in target shooting.
