Italian manufacturer Chiappa is famous for its reasonably priced weapon models directly based on classic designs. The 1911 Empire Grade model is the highest version in the series, made with care and using solutions found in the developmental version of the M45 MEUSOC. It features both a lightweight, skeletonized cocking, a modified spur that allows building a higher grip, and an extended trigger tongue that improves shooting. A version with a chrome-plated surface finish.
The Chiappa 1911 Empire Grade pistol provides the user with:- Proven, all-steel construction offering great ergonomics and precision
- Featuring the original .45 Automatic Colt Pistol cartridge with high kinetic energy
- SA-type trigger that guarantees low resistance and high smoothness, translating into accuracy
- Sporting sighting instruments with adjustable sights for precise target acquisition
- The 1911's characteristic fuse to eliminate the risk of accidental firing
In order to provide us with the same grip ergonomics as the original, the magazine remained in the classic single-row form. Identical to the original, the magazine is capable of holding 8 .45 ACP cartridges. The all-steel construction translates into high weight and rigidity, which, combined with the SA-type trigger, positively affects the weapon's precision. The pistol has received fixed mechanical sights, which will work well in target shooting.
