FITalco Grafit breat halyzer is a sobriety tester with a 4th generation electrochemical sensor.
The measurement range is between 0.00 - 4.00 ‰. The measurement accuracy allows the measurement of hundredths of a per mille.
The electrochemical sensor used in the breathalyzeris resistant to interference from other chemical compounds present in the sample of air tested, it also has linear characteristics and high selectivity thanks to which it responds only to the presence of ethyl alcohol in the exhaled air.
After turning on the breathalyzer, the device is ready for the first measurement after 35s. After the signal is heard, the measurement is made by blowing a sample of air into the device for about 5 seconds. The test result is shown on the display after up to 35s.
If the alcohol content in the exhaled air exceeds 0. 19‰ , the breathalyzer activates an alarm (light and sound), which will additionally warn us that we have reached the dose of alcohol in the exhaled air prohibited by Polish law.
