Lansky Arkansas S0650 is a natural sharpening stone of 200-350 gradation designed for Lansky sharpening systems.
The Arkansas stone, which originated in North America, is characterized by very fine grains, high hardness and density, making it a valued material for sharpening knives.
Sharpening on the Arkansas stone is time-consuming, but the cutting edge retains its sharpness much longer.
Gradation 450-650 is used for final sharpening and quick sharpening of slightly dulled cutting edges. The stone is mounted in a polymer housing, which includes a brass threaded insert for a guide (not included).
When sharpening, the manufacturer recommends using Lansky oil.
