The Firestar pulley bow from Ek Archery Research with carbon patterned arms was created for beginner archery students, especially children and teenagers.
The fiberglass arms are connected to the metal maypole with metal screws. This bow has standard threads for mounting a sight, arrow rest and stabilizer. The heavy-duty plastic wheels have three ranges of tension length adjustment, and the adjustment is made by changing the string attachment point. The cables and the string are made of steel cable wrapped in plastic, protecting the main strand from abrasion.
