TheBenchmade 15085-2 has a blade made of S30V steel with a hardness (58-60HRC) and a length of 86 mm and a thickness of almost 3 mm, making the model an excellent choice for an outdoor/EDC (everyday use) blade. The peg, located in the blade, is used for easy and quick unfolding of the knife and is suitable for left- and right-handed users. The 15085-2 model belongs to the HUNT series of knives.
The ergonomic handle consists of wooden facings, and elegant aluminum bolsters. The skeleton of the knife is reinforced with steel spacers. To increase safety when operating the knife, the linings are properly profiled. In the handle you will also find a sleeve, which is used to mount and pull the line. A steel, gearable clip is included for easy carrying of the knife.
Theblade locking mechanism is a durable and strong "axis lock", the locking element of which is an ax that enters a notch in the blade. This lock is easy to operate by both right and left-handed people. The excellent mechanics of the knife allow the blade to be disassembled in no time.
