Hornady cal. 30-06 SST SPF 11.7g 180g am munition is a hunting ammunition with increased initial velocity for big game.

The Superformance series of ammunition features a higher initial velocity, resulting in longer range, less drop, without increasing recoil. The SST (Super Shot Tip) bullet releases energy on hit and opens quickly, leaving an extensive channel in the game.

The polymer tip improves ballistics and initiates mushrooming of the bullet on hit. A Boat Tail type tip is selected for each bullet to increase the ballistic coefficient.

The leading groove allows the bullet to crimp securely, and together with the InterLock ring, provides controlled bullet expansion while maintaining high weight.
