The fired shotgun reaches a high initial velocity of about 250 m/s (~16 J), so we can also shoot accurately from the carbine at longer distances.
Modern targeting instruments
The carbine has been equipped with good-quality fiber-optic targeting instruments, i.e. a tunnel-type bow-tie and a micrometric adjustable vertical and horizontal pincer.
Thanks to high light absorption, the fiber-optic rods significantly speed up the alignment of the bow tie and the pincer.
If you want to try your hand at shooting at a longer distance, you can also mount the included optical sight with 4× magnification on the 11mm rail. The Hammerli 4×32 scope uses the popular Duplex 30/30 sighting reticle.
