The Lansky stone has a double-sided design, combining two useful gradations, i.e. coarse 240 (dark gray) for initial sharpening and repairing a severely dulled blade, and fine 600 (light gray) for proper sharpening and quick sharpening of slightly dulled tools.
Thelarge surface area (200×50 mm) means that on the stone we can also comfortably sharpen tools of larger size, such as axes, machetes, spades.
