TheCZ 457 Jaguar cal. 22LR is a side-firing carbine model, which features a long 726mm barrel, adjustable sights with an adjustment range of 25-200m, and a beechwood bed with a decorative motif in the form of a jaguar claw mark.

The CZ 457 Jaguar has a classic beechwood stock with a jaguar motif, on which decorative claw marks have been applied instead of the traditional grip checkering.

The carbine has a cold-forged, thin-walled barrel, with the largest length used in the 457 carbine family, amounting to as much as 726 mm. A new feature used in this carbine model is a firing pin tension indicator, which makes it easier to quickly check the status of the weapon.

Another innovative solution is a convenient breech removal system, without having to press the trigger tongue, which significantly speeds up the partial disassembly of the weapon. In the CZ 457 Jaguar, the user also has the option of removing the breech and unloading the weapon with the safety on.

The CZ 457 family carbines feature a new trigger mechanism, which allows the user to adjust the trigger force from 8 to 15 N and the length of its path 0.5-7 mm. The manufacturer has also upgraded the design of the firing pin, the weight of which has been reduced by nearly 60%, resulting in faster clanking and less shock after firing. Users will also appreciate the significantly reduced angle of rotation (by 30°) of the reloading lever, which allows comfortable use of scopes with a large eyepiece or low mount.

The adjustable rifle scope has settings ranging from 25 to 200 meters. The long barrel, match chamber and applied modifications mean that achieving a 15mm shot group at a distance of 50m is not a problem.

All metal parts of the CZ 457 have an extremely durable anti-corrosion finish. The carbine is fed from a removable steel magazine with a capacity of 10 rounds.

Standard buckles allow the attachment of a gun belt or bipod.
