TheRuike P127-B is a minimalist edc folder, equipped with a bearing tanto head made of 14C28N steel, a double locking mechanism and an emergency glass striker.
The knife has a 91mm-long blade made of Swedish 14C28N stainless steel, which, due to its high purity alloy, is distinguished by its high hardness, corrosion resistance and, importantly for the user, long retention of working sharpness.
Ruike cryogenically hardens the steel to an optimal usable hardness of 58-60 HRC. The slim tanto profile head and flat grind ensure smooth and aggressive cutting.
The blade can be instantly disassembled with one hand thanks to the milled flipper and ball bearings, made of special high-carbon chrome-plated steel characterized by high hardness, wear resistance and high fatigue strength.
This ensures a very smooth, light operation of the blade and great user comfort. When unfolded, the blade is secured by two locks: a liner-lock and an additional Thumb-Up stop mechanism that acts as a main locking safety.
The knife owes its light weight (120 g) to the use of liners made of durable G10 laminate, a material resistant to mechanical damage, abrasion, and weathering. The knife's construction is further strengthened by solid steel inserts.
A sharp tungsten carbide bolt is embedded at the end of the tang, which serves as an emergency glass breaker or self-defense tool.
