TheRuike P662-B is a compact everyday knife, featuring a warncliff blade made of 14C28N steel, G10 laminate liners and a quick release blade peg.
The knife has a 74mm-long blade made of Swedish 14C28N stainless steel, which, due to its high purity alloy, is distinguished by its high hardness, corrosion resistance and, importantly for the user, long maintenance of working sharpness.
Ruike cryogenically hardens the steel to an optimal usable hardness of 58-60 HRC, which ensures long retention of sharpness and adequate impact strength. The slim head with a wharncliffe profile and a flat blade ensure smooth and aggressive cutting.
The blade can be instantly unfolded with one hand thanks to the double-sided peg and bronze washers, which ensure a very smooth and comfortable blade action. A transverse cutter on the back of the blade allows for stable finger support during precision cutting.
When unfolded, the blade is secured by a proven liner-lock, valued for its strength and ease of use.
The knife owes its light weight (66 g) to the use of liners made of durable G10 laminate, a material resistant to mechanical damage, abrasion, and weathering. The knife's construction is further strengthened by solid steel inserts.
Discreetly carrying the knife in a pocket is made possible by an enlarged clip. The knife does not have a standard hole for a rope or braid, but a spacer can be used for this purpose.
TheRuike P662-B is a simple and highly functional tool for everyday use, for those who appreciate minimalist and typically utilitarian knife designs.
