TheCZ 457 Lux .22 LR is a match-grade side-firing carbine with a hunting style, with a stylish walnut bed, a 630mm barrel, a new trigger mechanism and a firing pin tension indicator.
Style and precision
The CZ 457 Lux carbine uses a beautifully finished Turkish walnut stock. Non-slip checkering on the pistol grip and the front of the bed improves the grip, and gives it a stylish look.
The buttstockhas a cheekpiece with a gently rounded ridge and a soft foot that stabilizes the carbine well on the shoulder.
The carbine is powered by a removable magazine with a capacity of 5 rounds. The rifle uses fiber-optic sighting instruments in the form of an adjustable scimitar and a tunneled musket. A milled 11mm rail also allows the attachment of an optical sight of your choice.
Standard buckles allow the attachment of a gun belt or bipod. The carbine has a cold-forged thin-walled 630mm barrel and a precision "Match" cartridge chamber, allowing for a 15mm shot group at 50m.
All metal parts of the CZ 457 have an extremely durable anti-corrosion finish.
Modern solutions
A new feature used in this carbine model is the firing pin tension indicator, which makes it easier to quickly check the status of the weapon. Another innovative solution is a convenient breech removal system, without having to press the trigger tongue, which significantly speeds up the partial disassembly of the weapon.
In the CZ 457, the user also has the option of removing the breech and unloading the weapon with the safety on. The CZ 457 family carbines feature a new trigger mechanism, which allows the trigger force to be adjusted from 8 to 15 N and the length of its path 0.5-7 mm.
The manufacturer has also modernized the design of the firing pin, the weight of which has been reduced by nearly 60%, resulting in faster clanking and less shock after firing.
Users will also appreciate the significantly reduced angle of rotation (by 30°) of the reloading lever which allows comfortable use of scopes with a large eyepiece or low mount.
