MFH US type- military compass with metal construction
The MFH compass has a lightweight body made of durable metal alloy. When carrying the compass, the sighting instruments are protected by a case that will not be accidentally opened thanks to a snap locking latch. The locking latch also serves as a lanyard or cord attachment.
What features does the MFH US type compass have?
The compass uses a bearing-mounted dial with an integrated needle and a smooth fill. The contrasting dial and midnight markings with a reflective symbol allow the compass indication to be read in residual light. The dial features 360° and 64° graduations with a classic wind rose. The magnifying glass and quarter markings on the windshield not only make it easier to read the scale, but also make it possible to determine the intermediate direction. The aiming instruments, i.e., the bow tie and the magnifying glass-inserted sights in the base, are a reliable tool for precise direction and azimuth determination. The busola also has a rotating ring to help determine azimuth values in the field.
