The Ruger Mark IV Target TB cal. 22LR is an excellent target pistol, featuring adjustable sights, a cold-forged barrel with external threads and a convenient one-button disassembly system.
Steel construction
The pistol's skeleton is made of stainless steel using a precision CNC method. The 5.5" long bull barrel is made of cold-forged steel, which guarantees exceptional accuracy and service life. The barrel's external thread is used to install a Silent-SR compensator or silencer.
Easy disassembly
Unlike other side-firing pistols, the Ruger Mark IV Target has a modular design that is very easy to disassemble. Disassembly of the barrel requires securing the gun and pressing a button on the back of the frame. Such functionality greatly facilitates cleaning and maintenance of the weapon.
Trigger mechanism
The pistol is equipped with a single-action SA trigger mechanism and a cocked shock mechanism with an internal cock. The cylindrical design of the breech guarantees stable operation relative to the barrel axis, which is very beneficial for excellent accuracy and minimizes recoil.
Comfortable and ergonomic
The reloading of the breech is very convenient due to the clip with extended wings. The gun uses a double-sided wing fuse and an enlarged magazine release. The grip angle has been optimized, so we can comfortably shoot the pistol with one or both hands.
Aggressively textured facings (interchangeable) provide excellent grip and grip stability.
Additional safety
In addition to its high ergonomics, above-average accuracy and perfectly felt trigger mechanism, the Mark IV also allows for "dry" training without the risk of damaging the firing pin.
The pistol uses an additional safety that, when the magazine is disconnected, precludes the possibility of firing.
Precision targeting instruments
The pistol uses mechanical targeting instruments in the form of an adjustable scimitar and a fixed musket, which are best suited for precision target shooting. The gun has factory-made holes for mounting a Picatinny/Weaver accessory rail.
