Renowned American steel
The knife features a utility drop-point profile blade, made of CPM-S30V stainless steel hardened to 58-60 HRC.The 82mm long blade is of optimal size and functionality, great for everyday tasks.
CPM-S30V powder steel is characterized by high hardness and resistance to damage, which ensures its optimal sharpness for a long time. The blade is completely covered with a Cerakote hardened layer, which has a very high resistance to abrasion, and reduces wear on the steel.
Quick and convenient unfolding
The blade can be conveniently unfolded with one hand, thanks to a double-sided peg (made of black anodized aluminum), allowing right- and left-handed people to operate the knife comfortably.
Reliable lock
The head lock is, of course, Axis-lock, the flagship mechanism of the Benchmade brand, valued for its great resistance to stress, insensitivity to dirt and ease of use.
Ultra-lightweight handle
The Bugout II generation uses advanced CF-Elite plastic for the liners. This nylon polymer has been reinforced with carbon fiber, making the knife's handle 17% lighter and stiffer (compared to Grivoy).
As well as the head and the rest of the linings are kept in a discreet black color scheme. Gently profiled facings with non-slip texturing, provide a very comfortable and stable grip on the knife.
Pocket clip
The compact clip, with the option of translation (left/right), allows you to carry the knife in your pocket in a very discreet, unobtrusive way. There is also a hole in the handle for attaching a rope or paracord braid.
