American stainless steel
The head, with an optimal length of 86 mm, was made of CPM-S20V powder steel hardened to a hardness of 59-61 HRC. CPM-S20V is an American "super steel" whose parameters correspond to Bohler's elite M390 stainless steel.
Thanks to its high chromium content and high amount of vanadium carbides, it is characterized by exceptionally good corrosion and wear resistance, and very long retention of sharpness.

The wide blade, with a usable drop-point profile, has a dual finish: satin-finished on the grind and stonewashed on the top. Thanks to the strong stitching, gentle edge curvature and flat grind, the blade penetrates perfectly and cuts very smoothly.
