Proven steel
The 78mm long blade is made of popular 8Cr13MoV steel hardened to 57-59 HRC. This Chinese steel has good corrosion resistance and hardenability comparable to AUS6.
The8Cr13MoV steel blade will be great for everyday use due to its corrosion resistance, good sharpness retention and ease of sharpening, for which a pocket whetstone is completely sufficient.
Efficient cutting
The blade, with a utilitarian recurve drop-point profile, has a matte satin finish (polishing) that gives it a stylish look.
Thanks to the use of a strong hilt, concave grind and a slightly rounded cutting edge, the knife has good cutting properties and sharpening is not a problem. The thickness of the blade at its widest point is 2.8 mm, which is a compromise between durability and functionality of the knife in everyday work.
Comfort of use
The blade can be quickly and conveniently unfolded with one hand using a milled flipper. The action takes place in a very natural and easy way and allows both right- and left-handed people to use the knife comfortably.
Assist mechanism for unfolding the blade
The opening process is facilitated by the SpeedSafe assist mechanism. When the flipper blade is pressed, the assist mechanism activates an internal spring that dynamically unfolds the blade, making the knife ready for use in a fraction of a second.
Steel blade lock
When the blade is unfolded, it is securely locked with a liner-lock mechanism. The steel locking bar provides a high level of security, and its operation is very intuitive and convenient. A reliable lock is an important element calling for the functionality and safety of the folding knife.
Wide handle
The knife has liners made of tough fiberglass-reinforced nylon. The wide grip, deep undercut for the index finger and characteristic scaly texturing make the knife very secure and safe in the hand.
Responsible for the stiffness and strength of the knife are steel reinforcing inserts, to which the polyamide facings are attached. Discreet carrying of the knife in the pocket is made possible by a wide clip, with the possibility of attachment in 2 positions (top/bottom).
There is also a hole in the handle for attaching a decorative paracord braid, which are very popular among most knife owners.
