TheMossberg 940 JM is a self-repeating rifle for dynamic shooting, designed with the participation of Jerry and Lena Miculek.
The main changes in the Mossberg 940 JM:
- self-cleaning gas system - requires maintenance only after 1,500 shots,
- reliable and faster operation of the gas system also on lighter ammunition
- external forks of the renowned Briley brand,
- enlarged breech drop and reloading lever,
- nickel-boron coated components,
- 24" barrel with vented rail,
- Hi-Viz fiber optic bow tie with replaceable inserts (9 LitePipe inserts),
- enlarged charging port allows you to drop in the "quad" right out of the box of the rifle,
- upgraded locator and donner,
- flask with adjustable length and avantage,
- new slim profile of the shuttle with non-slip texturing.
Reliable gas system
The weapon works on the principle of discharging some of the powder gases through a hole in the barrel wall (gas system).
Once upgraded, the gas system is virtually maintenance-free. According to the manufacturer, maintenance can be carried out only after 1,500 shots, since the products of powder combustion are automatically removed during the firing cycle.
The gas system also works reliably with lighter ammunition thanks to a vented spacer.
Ready to shoot on the track
The Mossberg 940 JM is ready to shoot on the track right out of the box. An enlarged charging port allows "fours" to be loaded without modifying the rifle. The profile of the locator and donor has also been changed, resulting in the elimination of the phenomenon of "biting" the thumb during charging.
The rifle uses enlarged manipulators (reloading lever, breech drop), improving the speed and comfort of operation. The flask gives the shooter the possibility to adjust the length (33-36 cm) and avantage (tilt and drop).
Branded accessories
The 24" long barrel has Accu-Choke external forks from the renowned Briley brand (C, IC, M). The 940 JM Pro uses an HIVIZ® TriComp fiber-optic musket, with interchangeable 9 LitePipe inserts (3 colors, 3 sizes, 3 shapes), which provides excellent visibility and allows you to customize the sight to your preference.
