TheVortex Razor UH-1 Gen II is an upgraded version of the uncompromised holographic sight, featuring Vortex FHQ technology that completely eliminates scattered light emissions, an enlarged viewfinder for easier target entry and 4 brightness settings dedicated to night vision.
Main differences from Generation I:

- 4 night vision-compatible brightness levels activated by a dedicated button,
- larger viewfinder (compared to gen I),
- CR132A battery installed without tools.
TheVortex Razor AMG UH-1 gen II holographic collimator offers greater precision, reliability and speed of target entry. Vortex Razor AMG UH-1 gen II will be perfect for dynamic shooting, civilian-defense and uniformed services work.
Unlike classic collimators, the aiming mark is displayed on a holographic reticle embedded in the viewfinder. This causes the shooter to look at the reticle perpendicularly every time, as a result of which the phenomenon of parallax is eliminated, and the time of entering the target is impressively shortened.
The effect most noticeable to the shooter is a much shorter reaction time affecting the speed of the shot. The Vortex Razor UH-1 Gen II holographic sight works even when the lens is dirty and damaged.
The armored aluminum construction is IPX-8 rated, which means it is resistant to shock, recoil, total immersion in water and internal evaporation.
The Vortex AMG UH-1 Gen II is built for military and law enforcement use, highlighted by a separate button with quick access to 4 night vision settings and a memory function for the last daylight brightness setting.
The enlarged viewfinder offers a wider field of view, affecting comfort as well as better evaluation and ease of moving the aiming point.

Design
- Shock and recoil resistance -lenses mechanically protected to prevent zero loss in the event of a fall,
- ArmorTek -hard and scratch-resistant coating protects the outer lenses from scratches, dirt and dust,

- FHQ technology-completely eliminates stray light emission (reflection of light from the front of the sight),

Power sources
- CR123A - powerful battery provides long operating time (non-rechargeable)
- LFP123A - rechargeable battery for shorter operating time (emergency power source), with rechargeable via built-in micro USB port
- Low battery warnings - "pulsing of the aiming mark" indicates that the battery is discharging and about 25 hours of operation remain.
