Lightweight and durable
TheLeupold VX-Freedom 1.5-4×28 1" Scout Duplex is a compact scope with a length of 284 mm and a weight of just 264 g.
The one-piece inch barrel (25.4 mm), is made of anodized aircraft-grade aluminum, thus guaranteeing resistance to shock, recoil, corrosion and scratches.
On the eyepiece there is an enlarged moleskin ring for quick and convenient magnification changes. Sealing and filling the optics with gas, completely eliminates the problem of internal lens evaporation and guarantees 100% weather resistance.
Optics
The American manufacturer Leupold places special emphasis on image quality and brightness.
Therefore, the optical system is built on the basis of premium lenses and the Twilight system responsible for high light transmission, and reducing scattered light by nearly 80% more effectively than similar models available on the market.
The visible image is bright, high-contrast, sharp from edge to edge and deep, so the scope can be used for hunting at dawn and dusk (adds about 10 minutes of light).
Its wide field of view (from 15 to 5.8 m / 100 m) and long exit pupil distance (max. 138 mm) make the scope best suited for Scout riflescopes. Its advantages will also be appreciated by hunters looking for a lightweight and compact optic for hunting.
Adjustment of the image focus is carried out with the help of a knurled ring.
Classic target reticle
The scope uses the popular Duplex sighting reticle in the background designed by Leupold in 1962. The crosshair is composed of 4 arms, which transition into a "thin hair" in the central part.
The clear, high-contrast reticle allows for both precise and rapid shooting in a variety of lighting conditions.
The low-profile turrets are 1/4 MOA adjustable. The crosshair adjustment range is 67 MOA vertically and horizontally. The turret knobs have moleskin walls, so no additional tools are needed to adjust the scope.
