Solid construction

TheBenchmade 15002 HUNT is a large fixed blade knife with full tang construction.

Knives made from a single piece of steel (full tang) are resistant to damage and breakage, which is why they are commonly used for heavier use by hunters, survival and bushcraft enthusiasts and soldiers.

Premium steel

Theknife has a 107mm long fixed blade, made of American CPM-S30V stainless steel.

Crucible Industries' S30V powder steel is hardened to an optimal hardness of 58-60 HRC, so it maintains a high sharpness for a long time, has adequate mechanical strength, and is also resistant to corrosion.

Due to its high vanadium carbide content, the steel is distinguished by its high impact and wear resistance, as well as its excellent cutting properties. Therefore, due to the high hardening and the nature of CPM-S30V steel, we recommend using diamond whetstones for sharpening.

When choosing a hard steel knife, get a diamond sharpener, as sharpening with a standard ceramic whetstone can be very labor-intensive and inefficient.

The wedge has a stonewashed (abrasive stone bath) matte finish, which effectively masks any scratches or abrasions to the blade from use.

A blade for the hunter

Thewide, flat-ground blade has a distinctly rounded belly, which, combined with the utilitarian drop point profile, provides excellent cutting performance and high resistance to damage.

Cross-milling has been made on the back and front of the spine to create a stable point of support for the fingers. This simple convenience allows the knife to be handled comfortably and accurately, which is crucial for a hunter when gutting game.

The larger size of the blade and the 3mm thick blade, also make the Benchmade 15002 HUNT suitable for other outdoor uses such as bushcraft and survival.

Classic grip

The element responsible for the knife's comfort is, of course, its handle.

Theknife has stylish facings made of stabilized wood attached to the bolt.

Stabilized wood is soaked in resin during processing, which provides better stability of the material, high hardness, resistance to water, changes in humidity and temperature, as well as to many solvents and acids.

The handle has a beautiful brown and black grain, which perfectly emphasizes the hunting character of the knife.

A stable grip on the knife is guaranteed by the profiled shape of the handle and the scalloped ribbing of the dorsal part of the shank. In the back of the handle there is a hole designed for a thong or paracord.

Leather sheath

A sheath made of natural leather and closed with a metal fastener is used to carry the knife safely at the belt.
