Solid construction
TheBenchmade 15017-1 HUNT Hidden Canyon Hunter is a small fixed (fixed head) knife with a full tang construction.
Knives made from a piece of steel (full tang) are resistant to damage and breakage, so they are commonly used for heavier ones by hunters, survival and bushcraft enthusiasts and soldiers.

Premium steel
Theknife has a 71mm-long fixed blade made of elite CPM-S90V stainless steel, which is tempered to an optimal hardness of 59-61 HRC for edc knives.
CPM-S90V is a luxurious stainless steel with a very high vanadium and carbon content, which make the blade stay sharp for a long time and highly resistant to abrasion and corrosion.
When choosing a hard steel knife, get a diamond sharpener, as sharpening with a standard ceramic whetstone can be very labor-intensive and inefficient.
A blade for the hunter
Thewide blade with a flat grind has a distinctly rounded belly, which, combined with the utilitarian drop point profile, provides excellent cutting performance and high resistance to damage.
Cross-milling has been made on the back and front of the spine to create a stable point of support for the fingers. This simple convenience allows the knife to be handled comfortably and accurately, which is crucial for a hunter when gutting game.
The blade has a satin finish (polished) giving the knife a classic style.

Comfortable and stylish grip
The element that is responsible for the comfort of using the knife is, of course, its handle.
Theknife has stylish Richlite laminate facings attached to the bolt. Richlite is a durable laminate produced from recycled paper infused with resin and natural pulp.
The handle has a beautiful brown and black grain, which contrasts strikingly with the orange insert of the G10 laminate.
A stable grip on the knife is guaranteed by the profiled shape of the handle and the scalloped ribbing of the dorsal part of the shank. In the rear part of the handle there is a hole intended for a thong or paracord.
Modern sheath
For safe carrying of the knife there is a sheath made of Boltaron, a thermoplastic material with high resistance to damage, temperature and moisture.
The bright orange color scheme makes it easier to find a knife left among the grass or undergrowth and increases our visibility during a group hunt. The sheath is compatible with the Tek-Lok mount.
