Lightweight and durable
The Leupold VX-Freedom 3-9×50 30 mm iR FireDot Twilight Hunter is a hunting scope with a length of 307 mm and a weight of just 485 g.
The spotting scope has an aluminum (6061-T6) 30 mm barrel, which, unlike the inch version, provides a greater range of aiming reticle adjustments of 60 MOA vertically and horizontally.
On the eyepiece there is an enlarged moleskin ring for quick and convenient magnification changes. Sealing and filling the optics with gas, completely eliminates the problem of internal lens evaporation and guarantees 100% weather resistance.
Bright and clear image
The American manufacturer Leupold places special emphasis on image quality and brightness.
Therefore, the optical system is built on the basis of premium lenses and the Twilight system responsible for high light transmission, and reducing scattered light by nearly 80% more effectively than similar models available on the market.
The visible image is bright, high-contrast, sharp from edge to edge and deep, so the scope can be used for hunting at dawn and dusk (adds about 10 minutes of light).
The scope's wide field of view (11.2 to 4.5 m / 100 m) and 3× magnification make it best suited for medium and long range. The spotting scope can also be used comfortably by people using corrective glasses, thanks to its large exit pupil distance.
Adjustment of the image focus is carried out with the help of a mothballed Fast Focus ring.
Precise ballistic reticle
The scope uses a Twilight Hunter sighting reticle with an illuminated aiming point. The Twilight Hunter crosshair consists of 4 3.4 MOA arms, which transition to 0.4 MOA hairline beams from the middle.
The clear, high-contrast reticle and illuminated red dot allow for both precision and rapid shooting in a variety of lighting conditions.
The FireDot fiber-optic aiming point automatically moves the shooter's sight to the center of the reticle, making target entry quick and instinctive. Illumination adjustments (8 levels) are made using the side Push Button.
The first 4 settings are for use in low light conditions, the others for use in sunlight. The adjustment range allows comfortable operation regardless of lighting conditions and time of day.
The low-profile turrets have 1/4 MOA adjustment. The crosshair adjustment range is 60 MOA vertically and horizontally. The turret knobs have moled walls that allow the scope to be operated with tactical gloves.
