The bow tie is made with precision CNC technique from aircraft aluminum, which contributes to its light weight and reliability in harsh conditions. The Leapers bow tie has a folding design, so we can quickly disassemble it only when we need it. The folded bow tie retains a low profile, so it does not interfere with the maneuvering of the weapon and does not rub or snag on elements of our equipment, branches, etc.
A spring-bearing mechanism is used to unfold the sight, which instantly unfolds the fly, and stably locks it in the upper and lower positions. The spring-loaded hinge is resistant to weapon recoil and drop, so the mechanical sight will be perfect as a back-up in case of collimator damage or battery depletion, etc. The Leapers UTG MNT-755 bow sight, like the classic A2-type sight, has a post with adjustable height. We can use a standard AR15 bow-tie wrench to change the adjustment height. A steel bolt with a rectangular profile is responsible for maintaining zero and stable seating of the musket on the Picatinny rail of MIL-STD-1913.
