The Härkila Heat men's thermal underpants in green and black are long underpants with sewn-in heating membranes that can be set to exactly the temperature you want. This makes them an excellent choice for a wide range of hunting and outdoor activities in cold weather.
Härkila Heat thermal underpants - comfortable and practical
The underpants are made of 80% nylon and 20% spandex, making them quick-drying, stretchy and durable. They have a modern cut, relatively close to the body. Heating membranes are sewn into the most cold-prone areas of the lower body - in the lumbar region and just above the knees. The membrane can be set to 35C, 43C or 50C with a button at the waist.
Unlike older heating technologies, the heating membranes are flexible enough to be folded and packed with the garment they are sewn into. The underpants can also be washed safely in the washing machine. There is a long, fabric-covered cable with a waterproof USB plug in the waistband for connecting a powerbank of desired capacity. The cord is long enough, for example, to stow the powerbank in a pants pocket. With a 10,000 mAh powerbank, the underpants can emit a top temperature of 50C for about 7 hours at an outdoor temperature of 0C.
To save energy, the heating membranes automatically go into standby mode when the garment reaches the set temperature. They then turn on automatically if the temperature drops 1-2 degrees below the set level. As a result, the underpants regulate heat, asthe heating function automatically turns off when it gets hot after an intense workout and turns back on when you are sitting or standing still. The underpants come with a dry bag in which to pack them.
