LAPUA 6.5 × 55 SE MEGA SP 10.1 g/155 gr is a hunting ammunition designed for big game hunting.
The ammunition uses a semi-jacketed Mega bullet with a copper coating. This design protects the lead core from damage during loading and overcoming terrain obstacles. The bullet retains more than 97% of its weight during carcass penetration.
Thanks to symmetrical deformation, the bullet increases its diameter twice without defragmenting the core. The jacket in the middle part is thicker, so the core is kept in the right position.
The flattened tip of the bullet immediately after a hit causes a fatal shock to the game.
