TheGarrett Ace Apex 6 ×11" is an ultra-lightweight, next-generation detector that features Multi-Frequency technology, an Apex Multi-Flex-compatible waterproof Viper coil, an integrated rechargeable battery for up to 15 hours of operation, and a Z-Lynk module for wireless communication with headphones.
Multi-frequency support
Thanks to Garrett's new Multi-Flex technology, up to four bands of 5, 10, 15 and 20 kHZ are put at the user's disposal. This gives you the ability to use one or all of the bands simultaneously.
The low frequencies allow you to search for deeper objects. The shorter range frequencies, are more precise, making them better suited for detecting small targets close to the surface.
Multi-Flex combines and amplifies the advantages of all frequencies, so you'll also find small objects at depth with the Garrett Ace Apex.
The detector has a ground filter for searching on different soils. By using 175 points of ground balance resolution, the detector can work effectively on all types of soil, including the sea beach.
Multi-Salt System
The Garrett Ace Apex will also be an excellent choice for searching on sandy beaches. It features a dedicated Multi-Salt mode designed to work on "salty beaches" and highly mineralized soils.
The mode is compatible with Multi-Flex technology, so the Ace Apex works stably and deeply on highly disturbed soils.
New generation coil
The detector uses a state-of-the-art 28 × 15 cm DD Viper coil. The waterproof probe with low resistance is perfect for hard-to-reach areas, sandy beaches and is compatible with Apex Multi-Flex technology.
Integrated rechargeable battery
The detector is powered by an integrated rechargeable lithium-ion battery, whose capacity allows for up to 15 hours of operation.
The battery is charged via a mini USB port (cable included), so you can recharge the cell from a power bank or car lighter socket if needed.
Z-Lynk wireless communication
The Garrett Ace Apex uses a Z-Lynk module for wireless connection to Garrett MS-3 Wireless Z-Lynk headphones (not included). The biggest advantage of this technology is its speed, which is 6× faster than standard Bluetooth.
In addition, the detector has a 3.5mm (1/8") jack headphone jack for connecting wired headphones.
Operating modes
Garrett Apex has twenty discrimination segments, including eight dedicated to iron. This makes it easy to skip unwanted objects such as nails and other iron "junk." The device has six pre-defined modes:

- Coins (coins only),
- US Coins (US coins),
- Jewelery (jewelry),
- Relics (relics),
- Custom (custom settings).
