Premium steel

The 74mm long blade is made of elite CPM-S30V stainless steel. Crucible Industries' S30V powder steel is hardened to an optimal hardness of 58-60 HRC, so it maintains high sharpness for a long time, has high mechanical strength, and is also resistant to corrosion.

Thanks to its high vanadium carbide content, the steel is distinguished by its high impact and wear resistance, as well as its excellent cutting properties. The blade is coated with a layer of black Teflon, which protects the blade from minor scratches.

When choosing a hard steel knife, get a diamond sharpener, as sharpening with a standard ceramic whetstone can be very labor-intensive and inefficient.

Useful head

The knife has a reverse-tanto profile blade with a pronounced false blade to reduce the weight of the head. Thanks to the use of a sturdy hilt, a high flat grind and a cutting edge with a gently rounded line, the knife penetrates easily and has good cutting properties.

The thickness of the blade at its widest point is 2.6 mm, which is a compromise between the durability and functionality of the knife in everyday work.

Convenient unfolding

The blade can be conveniently and quickly unfolded with one hand using a double-sided peg, which is convenient for both right and left-handed people.

Reliable locking mechanism

Benchmade's flagship mechanism, the double-sided Axis-lock, which is valued for its great mechanical strength, dirt resistance and convenient operation for right- and left-handed users, is responsible for safe operation.

Rugged handle

The knife has profiled G10 composite liners with a distinctive scalloped surface, which provides high grip and confidence in knife handling. The profile of the handle at the base of the blade is wider, which ensures that the hand will not slip on the blade while working.

The handle is reinforced by steel inserts and blue anodized spacer sleeves, contrasting strikingly with the knife's black color scheme. The linings are complemented by a spring clip, allowing the knife to be conveniently carried in a pocket or on a belt.

The clip can be attached to both the left and right sides of the handle.
