THE EDGE stone SHARP 1000/6000 is a double-sided corundum whetstone that, with the right skill, allows you to perfectly sharpen your knife. The stone is divided in two layers with two different grits: 1000 grit (fine, dark grey) for pre-sharpening and honing, and 6000 grit (ultra fine, white) for sharpening or quick sharpening of slightly dull blades. Both grits are suitable for honing kitchen knives, razors and other bladed tools that you want to make perfectly sharp. Big surface area (180×60 mm) allows for comfortable sharpening of bigger tools, such as axes and machetes.
Non-slip base
The whetstone is embedded in a housing with a rubber-coated bottom, which prevents the sharpener from moving around during sharpening. Note: The whetstone should be soaked in water for 10-15 minutes before use.
