TheBenchmade 533BK-2 Mini Bugout is a smaller version of the Bugout model , an everyday folding knife that has conquered the edc knife market with its lightweight, highly functional design.
Renowned American steel
The knife uses a blade with a utilitarian drop-point profile, made of CPM-S30V stainless steel hardened to 58-60 HRC.
The 72mm long blade is of optimal size and functionality, great for everyday tasks. The CPM-S30V powder steel is characterized by high hardness and resistance to damage, which ensures its optimal sharpness for a long time.
The blade is covered with a DLC protective layer, which has a very high abrasion resistance, and reduces wear on the steel.
Quick and convenient unfolding
The blade can be conveniently unfolded with one hand, thanks to a double-sided peg, allowing right- and left-handed people to operate the knife comfortably.
The knife features several decorative elements, in the form of an orange anodized p eg and polished spacer sleeves in the same color scheme.
Reliable lock
The head lock is, of course, Axis-lock, Benchmade's flagship mechanism, prized for its immense load resistance, insensitivity to dirt and ease of use.
Ultra-lightweight handle
The Bugout II generation uses advanced CF-Elite plastic for the liners. This nylon polymer has been reinforced with carbon fiber, making the knife's handle 17% lighter and stiffer (compared to Grivoy).
As well as the head and the rest of the linings are kept in a discreet black color scheme. Gently profiled facings with non-slip texturing, provide a very comfortable and stable grip on the knife.
The low profile of the facings and the small size when folded (10 mm) make the Mini Bugout so comfortable to carry on a daily basis that we can forget about its presence in the pocket.
Pocket clip
The compact clip, with an option to translate (left/right), allows the knife to be carried in the pocket in a very discreet, unobtrusive way. There is also a hole in the handle for attaching a rope or paracord braid.
