Renowned American steel
The knife uses a blade with a utilitarian drop-point profile, made of premium steel - CPM-S90V. This super steel is hardened to a hardness of 59-61 HRC. CPM-S90V is a luxury stainless steel with a very high vanadium and carbon content, which make the blade unusually have excellent retention, very resistant to abrasion and corrosion. When choosing a hard steel knife, get a diamond sharpener, as sharpening with a standard ceramic whetstone can be very labor-intensive and inefficient.
Quick and convenient unfolding
The blade can be conveniently unfolded with one hand, thanks to the double-sided peg (made of anodized aluminum), allowing right- and left-handed people to operate the knife comfortably.
Reliable lock
The head lock is, of course, Axis-lock, the flagship mechanism of the Benchmade brand, valued for its great resistance to stress, insensitivity to dirt and ease of use.
Ultralight liners
The Benchmade 535-3 Bugout has facings made of lightweight and durable carbon fiber, which, in addition to its striking appearance, ensures the knife's minimal weight - just 57 grams. Gently profiled liners with non-slip texturing, provide a secure and comfortable grip on the knife. The compact clip, with the option of translation (left/right), allows you to carry the knife in your pocket in a very discreet, unobtrusive way. There is also a hole in the handle for attaching a rope or paracord braid.
Stylish accessories
The elements that catch the eye of any knife enthusiast are the fine blue anodized design elements (the aluminum spacer and the double-sided peg).
TheBenchmade 535-3 Bugout is an ultra-lightweight and superbly crafted knife, created for ultimate comfort and functionality. Highly recommended for any enthusiast of the EDC philosophy!
