TheWalther FTK XXL is an outdoor tool with a length of nearly 440mm that bridges the gap between a knife and a machete.
Armored construction
The Walther FTK XXL has a sturdy full tang construction, which means the knife is made from a single piece of steel. The knife has a massive 205mm long blade made of hardened 440C stainless steel. The 440C stainless steel blade is resistant to wear, the effects of corrosion, and retains its working sharpness for a long time. Even a novice survival enthusiast can cope with sharpening such steel, so it is an excellent choice for an outdoor knife. Due to the strength of knives with full tang construction (full tang in Polish), they are used for heavy work not only by survival and bushcraft enthusiasts, but also by soldiers and hunters.
Special blade
This model of knife uses a blade with a special profile, in which we can distinguish 4 working areas: a strong hilt, a long cutting edge with a gentle curve, a hook and a serrated blade
The smooth blade on the front of the wedge will be great for clearing and chopping wood. The serrated blade can handle cutting fibrous and hard material, while the hook is ideal for undercutting root and branches. Along the entire blade runs a reinforcement (indentation), which reduces weight and serves a decorative function. Such functionality makes the Walther FTK XXL a full-fledged field tool that will stand up to even the toughest tasks.
Hybrid handle
The knife's handle is made of 2 materials: a resistant G10 laminate (both sides of the hilt protect the hand from slipping on the blade) and walnut wood, from which profiled facings were created. There is a hole in the protruding bolt, which allows for the insertion of a cord or thong.
The knife can be carried securely on the belt in a sheath in a nylon sheath that closes with a snap fastener.
